Plumbing Team

Dan grew up on the east coast in Chapel Hill, NC and Blacksburg, VA. Dan moved to Vail, CO for a year and then attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Music. After his dreams of becoming a Rockstar did not pan out, Dan found a steady job at a local bank. Dan’s last role at the bank was as a commercial lender helping to finance the dreams of business owners. Dan decided to scratch the entrepreneur itch and in August of2019 he purchased Canyon Plumbing & Heating, Inc.Dan worked hand in hand with the previous Canyon owner Todd Oliver and learned from the best. Dan has had a knack for providing exceptional customer service and is constantly striving for improvement personally and professionally. Dan met his wife while attending CU and they now have 2 kids and enjoy hiking and traveling together.

I’ve been in the industry for 7 years, starting as a CSR & Dispatcher and moving my way up to Management.
What tv show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love? Finding Nemo has been a favorite movie of mine since it came out.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work? Traveling with my family.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? Communication, leadership, team work, problem solving, eagerness & determination.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? Helping people, knowing that I may have helped/made someone’s day.

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? Doing and learning new things daily and working as a team to come up with solutions to problems.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work? Outside of work, I enjoy photography and adventuring with my family.
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be... flying, so I’d not have to sit in traffic

What do you think are the best skills that you bringto your job? Communication,experience, positive attitude, pride and eagerness to serve our customers.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.
If I could only eat one meal everyday for the rest of my life, it would be... 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, grits, slice of sourdough toast, glass of orange juice, cheese burger with all the fixins’, seasoned fries, side salad with ranch, an ice cold refreshing Coca-Cola classic, 2 glasses of water, 12 oz rib eye steak medium rare, baked potato with butter and sour cream, medley of fresh vegetables, and a slice of chocolate cake with a tall glass of milk. No one ever said it had to be a small meal!

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? Experience and knowledge. I’ve been in the plumbing field for over 20 years.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work? I like to spend time outdoors, hunting and fishing. I also like to haul bucking bulls to rodeos.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? I enjoy getting to go out and interact with customers and help them come up with permanent solutions for their issues.
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? I don’t have one favorite meal, but my favorite type of food is Italian for sure.
